April 1 – 15 Central Vermont Adult Basic Education
Central Vermont Adult Basic Education (CVABE) is a community-based organization that provides education and literacy services to adults and teens throughout Washington, Orange and Lamoille County for over 50 years. CVABE serves as a primary stepping-stone to workforce development and career and college readiness programs. The organization’s core programs are basic literacy, which includes reading, writing, math and computers; high school credentialing and English language learning. Stop by our Taproom during the first half of April to support this great organization.
April 16 – 31 ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain
Sunshine Fund donations during the second part of April will benefit ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain. As a leading science center, ECHO believes that education is the key to building community resilience, reducing poverty and shrinking opportunity gaps across Vermont. ECHO builds STEM curriculums in rural schools curated to focus on the assets of each community. In partnership with the Capstone Community Action Head Start program in Barre, ECHO works to grow teachers’ ability to teach STEM to improve student outcomes. Support their mission in our Taproom April 16 – 31.

Thank you to all our fans who donated to the Sunshine Fund in February. As a result of your generosity, we donated $31,183.65 to the Mad River Valley Volunteer Fire Departments!

Spring is bringing bluebird days and the promise of sunshine to come. It’s time to match the skies with a Sip of Sunshine in hand. Our Sip of Sunshine is a lupulin-laden India Pale Ale is packed with juicy tropical fruit character, bright floral aromas and delectable layers of hop flavor. It’s the yellow ray of fantastic flavors that our fans know and love!
Little Sip IPA 6.2% ABVMeet the crushable 6.2% ABV cousin to Sip of Sunshine IPA. Little Sip IPA has a juicy, fruit-forward character layered with tropical hop flavors featuring notes of grapefruit and pineapple to create a delectably balanced beer.
Scrag Mountain Pils is brewed in the traditional Czech Pilsner style. It’s our crisp, house lager that is perfect for spring. The name is a tribute to the source of Waitsfield’s town water and the aquifer deep beneath Scrag Mountain.
Super Session #3 4.8% ABV This limited edition to our Super Session Series is light and refreshing with low alcohol and full hop character of a Session IPA. Each beer in our Super Session series is brewed with the same malt base and specialty malts but features a different single-hop variety. Super Session #3 is brewed with copious amounts of Comet hops.
Double Sunshine Ruby Red Grapefruit 8% ABV
This fan-favorite is a special edition of our American Double IPA made with ruby red grapefruit, adding an extra layer of mouth-watering, juicy, lush fruit character along with dank tropical aromas. It’s being distributed throughout our nine-state territory for the first time ever. Find a four-pack near you!

Brave Little State Pale Ale 5% ABV
Brave Little State Pale Ale is a Vermont-grown beer brewed in collaboration with Vermont Public Radio to celebrate their Brave Little State podcast. It’s our first hazy, juicy pale ale, exploding with bountiful aromas of melon and berries. The Vermont-grown ingredients inside each can embody the incredible spirit of the Green Mountain State and VPR. As a Good Brews for a Cause through our Social Impact Program, a portion of Brave Little State sales will be donated to support VPR’s mission and fuel independent journalism.

Bitter Boots
We created an English-inspired Extra Special Bitter called “Bitter Boots.” It was dreamed up and brewed exclusively by the Lawson’s Finest ladies and has malty notes of caramel, brown sugar and toffee. It’s balanced by herbal and floral hops to render a slightly sweet character with a crisp, clean finish.
The Space In Between Passion Fruit 5% ABV
A special edition featuring Passion Fruit puree! With a depth and form unclear, this hazy ale resides in the space in between styles. Brewed with oats and wheat, a hint of tartness, and dry-hopped with Galaxy & Nelson Sauvin.
Peril Imperial Pale Ale 11.1% ABV
Our Imperial India Pale Ale has a menacing hop character and dangerously smooth flavor, achieved by copious dry hopping and cold conditioning. Please enjoy responsibly… at your own Peril!
Hopcelot IPA 7% ABVGet inspired by our dreamy combination of music, hops and beer. Every sip features eight varieties of hops from around the world, brewed to create intricate flavor and delight your senses! It’s a new Taproom staple and we couldn’t be more excited that it’s staying on draft.
Triple Sunshine is the culmination of our Sunshine series exploding with juicy notes of pineapple, grapefruit and lychee. The brew exudes potent floral and herbal aromas from a deluge of dry-hopping. Snag a glass in our Taproom before it’s gone!
Pink Boots Taproom Takeover
Celebrate women in brewing in our Taproom on Wednesday, April 6th as we partner with three local breweries to host a Pink Boots Taproom Takeover. Join the lady brewers from Lawson’s Finest Liquids, Drop In Brewing, Hogback Mountain Brewery and Kraemer & Kin as we tap our Pink Boots Brews, dance to live music from AliT and raise our glass to women in the industry. A portion of all Pink Boots proceeds directly benefit the national Pink Boots Society. Learn more about the event and the beers here.
