Looking to spice things up?

Well, then this beer cocktail might be just what you need. Using our favorite summertime beer, Scrag-arita, we will be making Micheladas!

A Michelada is a traditional Mexican cocktail made with beer, Clamato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and hot sauce. If you are a fan of Bloody Marys or all things spicy, you are going to love this! Here is our take on a Michelada. Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 1 lime (1/4 of a lime juiced plus some to rim your glass and a wedge for garnish)
  • Tajin for the rim
  • Ice
  • 4oz tomato juice of your choice (we used Clamato)
  • A few dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • A few dashes of your favorite hot sauce (we used Tabasco)
  • Scrag-arita (4-8 oz. depending on your glass)

Having friends over? Make a pitcher of Micheladas! One 16 oz can of Scrag-arita will amount to 4 servings with each serving getting 4 oz beer, 4 oz tomato juice, and 1 Tbs of lime juice. Served in a Tajin rimmed glass.

Don’t like tomato juice? Make a Chelada instead! Simply use one full 16 oz Scragarita with 1 Tbs of lime juice served in a Tajin rimmed glass.
