A Brew of Their Own

March was Women’s History Month, but at Lawson’s Finest Liquids we celebrate and support women all year long.  We are ecstatic to introduce this year’s Pink Boots mid-month release, Sisterhood Sour. As part of our Good Brews for a Cause initiative, this beer is brewed in collaboration with Pink Boots Society, an organization that advocates for and educates women in the brewing industry. It’s brewed with hibiscus, tangerine peel and apricot puree for an approachable sour with fruity, herbal notes. For every bottle sold at our drive-thru Retail Store, Lawson’s Finest will donate $2 to the Pink Boots Society so you can pay it forward with every sip.

We’re also highlighting the women of Lawson’s Finest during our April Livestream with co-owner, Karen Lawson; Brewery Lab Manager, Julie Smith and VT Brand & Key Account Manager, Katie Butler. Tune in for a closer look at the empowered women who help lead Lawson’s Finest Liquids.

Social Impact Program (SIP)

Sunshine Fund

To further support women this month, we’ve announced Vermont Works for Women as our April Sunshine Fund recipient. This organization empowers women and girls to recognize their full potential and excel in work that leads to economic independence.

Sunshine Fund donations will directly support Rosie’s Girls, a program that gives middle school girls hands-on experience in career fields that are non-traditional for women including STEM and trades exploration. To make an even bigger impact, Lawson’s Finest will proudly match all Sunshine Fund donations to Vermont Works for Women.

Thank you to all of our guests who made a donation at the drive-through in February. With Lawson’s Finest matching donations, we were able to give over $15,000 to the Kelly Brush Foundation from the Sunshine Fund. This organization empowers people with spinal cord injuries to lead engaged lives and also runs the Stop the Bleed campaign. We are so excited to see these funds further propel their mission and provide education on prevention and treatment of ski racing laceration injuries.

Green Up Vermont

Join us next month to Green Up Vermont. We’re doing our part by proudly sponsoring Green Up Day on May 1st and taking a day to be a steward to Mother Earth. We would love our fans to join us! Contact your local Vermont Volunteer Coordinator to see how you can be a part of this green initiative, or be a steward in your home state to clean up litter!

Vermont Adaptive Ride for Charity

We’re also sponsoring the 11th Annual Vermont Adaptive Charity Challenge and the fun has already begun. Vermont Adaptive supports inclusivity in sports and gives people of all abilities the opportunity to participate in adaptive sports, programs and activities. For this year’s Charity Challenge, you can participate in any activity through June 19th and support an amazing cause with every move. Register HERE.

Our Still Single IPA is now available at our drive-thru Retail Store. Don’t miss your opportunity to grab this Mad River Glen brew. As a Good Brews for a Cause, it is brewed in collaboration with Mad River Glen to benefit the Stark Mountain Foundation. Each can sold helps protect and preserve the mountain. It’s brewed with Centennial, Cascade and Mosaic hops featuring notes of lemon, lime and pine. Snag it while you can, they won’t last long!

Stony Hill Porter

We can’t wait to release our Stony Hill Porter mid-April in cans for the first time ever! This porter was named after the location of our original brewery in Warren, VT next to Lawson’s Finest Airbnb which is available for rent.

The Stony Hill Porter features notes of chocolate and caramel underscored with a subtle smokiness. Its smooth, dry finish is sure to help you slide through mud season.

Triple Play

Super Session #5

We are excited to announce that Super Session #5 has hit the shelves for the first time ever in cans! It’s a refreshing, low ABV beer with the full hop character of a Session IPA. We brew all members of the Super Session Family with the same malt base and feature a different single-hop variety. Super Session #5 is brewed with Cashmere hops.

Knockout Blonde

They say blondes have more fun, so we’re giving even more fans a blonde moment by distributing Knockout Blonde Ale to our entire marketplace. This blonde ale packs a zippy punch of hop aroma and features a flavorful blend of North American malts. It’s fully loaded with Cascade and Centennial hops and inspired by the knockout blonde herself, Karen Lawson.

Little Sip IPA

Little Sip IPA is hitting local shelves in VT, CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI. The juicy, fruit-forward brew is layered with a tropical hop taste and bright floral aromas. Notes of grapefruit and pineapple add flavor while the 6.2% ABV makes it a delightfully crushable addition to the Sunshine Family. Pick up some cans near you today.

And as always, fresh batches of our flagship Sip of Sunshine IPA will be delivered weekly in our distribution territory. You can find information on beer availability and store locations near you via the Beer Finder on our website here.
