Learn more about our Sunshine Fund here.

Our Sunshine Fund application is currently closed and will reopen in July 2026 for the 2027 Sunshine Fund calendar year. If you’d like to be notified when applications reopen, sign up and we’ll alert you when we are taking new applicants.

Lawson’s Finest is committed to continual innovation and investment in efficiency, while taking steps to green-up our beer production process and minimize our impact in a resource-intensive manufacturing business. Over the years we have installed roof solar arrays on our brewery and office buildings, in addition to constructing the largest solar canopy in the state of Vermont to provide covered parking spaces. We offer more than a dozen EV charging stations throughout our campus and are in the process of switching our fleet of sales vehicles to hybrids as well. We prioritize sourcing locally, implementing energy efficient systems where feasible, and also constructed a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system to support our Waitsfield production. Learn more about our sustainability and Green is Grand initiatives here and in our most recent Impact Report.

In lieu of tips in our Taproom, we invite our guests to donate to the Sunshine Fund to benefit local nonprofits. Our staff receive generous wages and total compensation packages that don’t require tips to supplement income, allowing us to harness the generosity of guest donations with the goal of helping our local communities thrive.
