October beer news

Autumn brings you our two latest collaborations with Otter Creek Brewing, including Double Dose IPA in bottles and draft. You can find it around New England thanks to Otter Creek’s wide distribution. In the upcoming month, we will also release our new collaboration called Double or Nothing, a sweet Barley Wine aged on maple wood and brewed with maple syrup. Yum!

The recent late summer season has meant a lot of traveling for Sean Lawson, which in turn results in the absence of 22 ounce bottles of beer brewed in Warren VT you’ve learned to seek out on the shelves. While we acknowledge that many of you are craving the Finest local brews, we are so thrilled to be a part of some really amazing projects including the 2016 Sierra Nevada Beer Camp. Check out this post for more information on our exciting venture!

Revelers in VT and CT alike will enjoy fresh batches of Sip of Sunshine IPA (cans & draft) the weeks of 10/5, 10/12 and 10/26. You’ll find a fresh batch of Super Session #2 (cans & draft) the first week of October and again the week of 11/2. Generally, Sip of Sunshine IPA is brewed twice a month and Super Session #2 is brewed once a month.

The last week of October will feature a new release of bottles and draft of our collaboration brew made with Carrier Roasting Company called Carrier Dark Mild (cold brewed with coffee). A perfect pairing with a sweet dessert on these cooler nights.

Sean will be spending more time in the Sugarhouse brewery in October, which will mean special releases of small batch beer coming your way later this month and in November. Keep your eyes here for beer variety updates…

A sneak peek into November also brings a rare Lawson’s Finest/Otter Creek Brewing (SOLD OUT) beer dinner in CT at Trumbull Kitchen on 11/18. Check out their website for updates. Cheers!
