April Beer News

Early April means that we’re busily preparing for our 8th Anniversary Celebration on 4/9. This event is completely sold out! For those of you attending the daytime Beer Lovers Market or the evening Beer Lovers Ball, please make sure to shop at the local Bridge Street and surrounding Waitsfield village stores (including Village Grocery, Sweet Spot, Reign Vermont, Waitsfield Wine (and beer!) Shop, Artisan’s Gallery, etc) to support local!

All of the Warren-brewed beer will be sold at our Anniversary celebration, so there will not be bottled beers appearing on any Vermont retail shelves in early April. If any bottled beer remains after our event on 4/9 these will go to select VT retail outlets the week of April 11th. Stay tuned for an update on any potential upcoming bottle releases by mid-month. UPDATE 4/12/16 – a limited number of cases of Knockout Blonde and Maple Nipple will be arriving at the Warren Store and Hunger Mountain Co-op on Thursday 4/14 and to the Beverage Warehouse on Friday 4/15. Cases of Carrier Mild will be delivered the following week to the same accounts. Enjoy!

There will be special draft tappenings at a handful of local establishments Friday/Saturday/Sunday April 8-10 to commemorate Lawson’s Finest 8th Anniversary! The Mad Taco, Mad River Barn, Hostel Tevere, Prohibition Pig, Three Penny Taproom and The Farmhouse will all be pouring limited edition Lawson’s draft! Check out their social media pages for more information.

As usual, there will be fresh batches of Sip of Sunshine IPA and Super Session #2 all month long in Vermont and Connecticut. And did you hear? On March 14th, Lawson’s Finest Super Session #2 was crowned the “National Session IPA Champion” by Brewing News! We challenged 63 other highly acclaimed beers and came out the winner – we’ll cheers to that!
